Incorporating customer feedback into the new product line, Baze adds new Specialty Supplements to provide more immediate impact to personalized needs

BOSTON, MA – October 22nd, 2019 - Three out of four Americans are deficient in at least one essential nutrient despite 76% reportedly taking a multivitamin daily. Baze, the industry leader in personalized nutrition seeks to bridge the nutrition gap in the US through an evidence-based, data-driven approach. As part of this mission, Baze announces the addition of five new Specialty Supplements to its existing line of Essential Supplements on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2019. Adding to Baze’s success in correcting 73% of identified nutrient deficiencies after just three months of product use, Baze will now offer five key herbals and amino acids that their scientists have identified to have measurable impacts on energy and stress levels and immunity, joint, and brain health. This additional offering makes Baze the first and only evidence-based personalized nutrition solution to help individuals target specific health needs with customized supplements.

Baze's blood collection kit gathers a 100-milliliter sample to test for levels of essential nutrient biomarkers. Subsequently, the company provides a personalized supplement regimen aimed at driving ongoing, measurable optimization of these nutrient levels. As part of the testing process, Baze also invites customers to share additional information around their lifestyle habits and health-related goals, which helps to further personalize their recommendations. Building upon this consumer feedback, and with consumers’ top health priorities in mind, Baze’s scientists and dietitians identified the Specialty Supplements with the strongest potential. As with the original Essential Supplements, the Specialty Supplements will be included in the customized supplement package each customer receives according to their blood and lifestyle data.

"The same principle that we applied to the Essential Supplements, now applies to the Specialty Supplements: evidence comes first,” says Allison Baker, VP of Business Development at Baze. "Our Essential Supplements are really there to build a sustainable foundation for your wellbeing. Specialty Supplements now address more of your day-to-day stressors and needs. "

Launched in 2018 by Philipp Schulte and Dr. Isam Haddad, Baze is the first and only personalized nutrition company that takes an innovative, yet always evidence-based approach to fully individualized supplementation. By providing a small blood sample, Baze's certified lab utilizes validated testing methods to analyze the nutrient levels in your blood, which is the most accurate snapshot of your nutrition status, thus allowing their nutrient scientists and registered dietitians to identify the most effective dosage for you. Baze was developed by a group of pioneers and elite practitioners at the cusp of nutritional science with the goal is to help people make smarter decisions around their health and to provide actionable data to enable our customers to optimize their nutrition for the long-term. The release of their new Specialty Supplement line of products strengthens their belief that supplements are an important tool for ensuring healthy nutrient levels but that a one-size-fits-all approach has created a broken process and developed distrust in the industry. The new Specialty Supplements leverage herbs, botanicals, and amino acids that can directly impact your targeted health priorities.
